Striper Sniper, Marabou Tail This version of the Striper Sniper features a tail of marabou instead of bucktail. What's the difference? you ask. The marabou tail is quite a bit more active than the bucktail but is not so durable.

This fly really comes into its own when you want a quieter surface fly or when the water is too choppy to fish a Gurgler. Pull it under and let it ride to the top as a wounded baitfish. Also may be fished on a sinking line to float above sunken obstructions. A great companion fly to the Gurgler.

Note: Where two colors are used to describe the fly, the first color describes the color of the foam shell, the second color describes the color of the tail and/or hackle ribbing.
